Diary Entry 2: Best cities to enjoy a meal with friends and family

To enjoy a meal with friends and family is the best way to hang out. As humans, we have always enjoyed spending time together and interacting with each other, whether in a group of many or a group of only a few. Spending together is always fun and brings happiness to one’s heart!

I have combined a list from personal experience of the best cities to have an enjoyable meal with family and friends.

Barcelona, Spain

Some things can be pretty sure to do when visiting Barcelona; landmarks such as the Guídi and the La Sagrada Familia make the visit memorable. The other fun thing to do in Barcelona is eat out. I am fond of tapas, however, a meal at Fat Barbies is way more to be enjoyable. Also, remember that dinner hours in Barcelona are from 20h00, so enjoy shopping or sightseeing before sitting down to enjoy a meal.

Cape Town, South Africa

Cape Town is one of my favorite places to visit to relax and unwind, spending time by the beach in Camps Bay or going to Franshoek for the best wine. The Mother City has the best restaurants worldwide, typically Cape Malay cuisine, Ethiopian cuisine, French cuisine, and The Neighborhood Food Market on Saturday and Sunday. There are too many ways to have a good time with family and friends while enjoying a meal.

Lisbon, Portugal

Enjoying a meal with friends and family is a must-do activity in Lisbon; known for its beautiful architecture and Liberty Street, where you can shop for the best brands. My advice next time you are in Portugal is to have a bacalhau com natas, typically for lunch or dinner, and for dessert, have a pastel de nata; I am telling you, it will always go right.

Milan, Italy

Italy is the land of pasta and la Vida Bella. Pasta made in Italy can be challenging to duplicate; even though I have tried it, I can never get it right. Milan is known as the capital of fashion in the world and fresco dining. Therefore, there are places to enjoy a meal and eat like a local with your family and friends.

Nice, France

Nice is in the best spot in France, the French Riviera, known for its beautiful beaches and abundant scenery. The French Riviera is just a beautiful place. Nice is one of my favorite spots to have a good time at the Restaurant Le Chantecler, where you can enjoy authentic French food and feel French from the first bite, and having dinner or lunch with your family and friends can bring you the happiest feeling.

Ria de Janeiro, Brazil

Oh, Brazil! Rio de Janeiro is the place if you want to enjoy a meal with family and friends in the land of samba, beautiful beaches, and the carnival. Brazilians are known to have a good time and enjoy time together so when you are in Brazil, go to a rodizio, where you can eat any meat you want. I enjoyed my time in Rio de Janeiro, and I recommend a visit with friends and family because I often notice you are bound to have a good time.
